Mountain bike racing returns to Boggs Mountain Demonstration Forest

Friends of Boggs Mountain has worked tirelessly since allowed back into the forest in 2018 to rebuild the trail system that was destroyed by the Valley Fire. With the completion of over eight miles of new trails, this year Boggs will host two races: Bike Monkey eight-hour endurance race on Saturday May 7 and the Norcal Championship race for high school age kids on Saturday May 21st. Race details will be posted on our website and Facebook page prior to each event. The forest will remain open for all users however please be advised that trails used for the racecourse should likely be avoided during the races. Both organizations go to great lengths to accommodate all users but please be mindful of racers and spectators on race days. We encourage anyone interested to come out to enjoy the festivities.
