Trail Closure Notice – Sunday, July 12, 2026

A Special Use Event will be taking place at Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

For public safety, the following trails will be closed to general use during the event:�• Jethros Trail�• Berrys Trail�• Portions of Hardtail Trail�• Portions of Boggs Peak Trail

Forest Roads 200 and 220 will be used for the event but will remain open. If you’re visiting the forest during these hours, please use caution, follow posted signs, and plan to use alternative routes.
